A leather fly tying mat gives you a comfortable, durable surface to work on while protecting the bench underneath. 

The soft leather surface helps keep hooks, beads and tools from bouncing or rolling as easily on the workbench. It also brings something different to the tying bench: the feel and unmistakable smell of real leather that makes spending hours at the vise that much more enjoyable.

We make our fly tying mats by hand in our Montreal workshop using premium leather selected for its feel, durability and ability to age beautifully. With use, the leather develops a patina unique to the flies tied, tools used and time spent at the vise.
